Risk and Fraud Operations Analyst (Tier 2)

Line of Business: Online Gaming

Tool Preferred: SEON (preferred, not required)

Requirement: Hands-on experience in risk and fraud within the gaming industry

Overview: The Risk and Fraud Operations Analyst (Tier 2) plays a critical role in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks and fraudulent activities, particularly within gaming platforms. This position supports multiple lines of business and requires strong analytical skills, investigative capabilities, and experience in fraud detection and risk management. Familiarity with tools like SEON is preferred but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fraud & Risk Identification: Analyze platform behavior, transactions, and user activity to detect fraudulent actions and operational risks, especially in gaming environments.
  • Tool Utilization: Use fraud detection platforms such as SEON (preferred) to monitor and investigate suspicious activities.
  • Investigation & Escalation: Conduct in-depth investigations of flagged incidents and escalate confirmed cases appropriately.
  • Data Analysis: Interpret and analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and risk exposures.
  • Mitigation Strategies: Design and implement processes to prevent and address fraud and operational risks.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure adherence to internal controls, compliance standards, and industry regulations.
  • Workflow Improvement: Continuously enhance fraud and risk detection workflows for increased efficiency and accuracy.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and insights for internal teams and stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven hands-on experience in fraud and risk operations, preferably in the gaming industry
  • Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with fraud detection tools (SEON preferred)
  • Analytical Ability: Strong investigative mindset and critical thinking skills
  • Data Skills: Capable of interpreting complex data to identify risk indicators
  • Communication: Effective written and verbal communication for documentation and collaboration
