Our client, a US-based financial services firm, is seeking a skilled and client-focused Client Service Accountant to join their growing team. This is a fully remote position with opportunities for long-term growth and leadership development.

Responsibilities
Client-Facing Duties
- Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and professional communication
- Promptly respond to client emails and requests (e.g., business license renewals, workers' compensation audits, loan applications, regulatory compliance, retirement strategies)
- Participate in client meetings via Zoom when needed
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements prior to distribution
Bookkeeping Oversight
- Supervise and review the work of a bookkeeping team in the Philippines
- Assign and delegate one-off tasks to bookkeepers when appropriate
- Provide constructive feedback to maintain high quality and consistency across all clients
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Accounting & Reporting
- Review financial statements to identify and resolve errors
- Investigate fluctuations in financial reports and provide solutions
- Run and interpret Excel-based reports for clients
- Review monthly reconciliations and address reconciling items
- Assist in improving accounting processes, controls, and consistency
Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting (CPA preferred but not required)
- QBO ProAdvisor Certified (QuickBooks Online)
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting controls
- Proficient in QBO, Excel, Slack, , Gusto, and Google Workspace
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- Experience managing or reviewing bookkeeping/accounting teams is a plus
Work Setup
- Location: Remote (Philippines-based applicants encouraged to apply)
- Schedule: Full-time, aligned with US time zones
- Compensation: Competitive, based on experience and certification
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php100, Php120,000.00 per month
