The Design & Development Associate supports the planning, design, and execution of development, renovation, and construction projects within Limketkai properties. The role assists in preparing drawings, technical plans, and project documentation, while coordinating with internal teams, tenants, contractors, and regulatory bodies. The Associate ensures that all design outputs meet company standards, safety requirements, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design Preparation & Drafting

  • Prepare and revise architectural and technical drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other design software.
  • Assist in creating space plans, 3D models, and design presentations.
  • Prepare fit-out guidelines, layout options, and design recommendations for tenants and internal projects.
  • Conduct site measurements, surveys, and documentation for design updates.

2. Project Coordination

  • Support the Design & Development Manager in the coordination of design-related tasks for construction, renovation, or improvement works.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Leasing, Mall Operations, and other departments regarding design requirements and updates.
  • Assist in monitoring project progress, timelines, and compliance with approved design plans.
  • Participate in site inspections and prepare inspection reports.

3. Tenant Coordination

  • Assist in reviewing tenant fit-out plans to ensure compliance with mall design guidelines and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with tenants, contractors, and suppliers for design clarifications and approval processes.
  • Help ensure that tenant fit-out works adhere to mall technical standards.

4. Documentation & Reports

  • Maintain updated files of plans, permits, and project documents.
  • Prepare weekly progress reports, design updates, and documentation.
  • Assist in preparing materials for permit applications, regulatory submissions, and internal approvals.

5. Research & Development

  • Research materials, design trends, finishes, and construction methods suitable for mall and commercial development.
  • Provide recommendations for design improvements and cost-efficient solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
  • Licensed Architect/Engineer is an advantage but not required.
  • With at least 1–3 years of experience in architectural design, drafting, or project coordination.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and other design/drafting software.
  • Knowledgeable in building codes, mall fit-out standards, and safety regulations is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
  • Good communication and coordination abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php17, Php22,000.00 per month
