Lit Lab Studios is a growing creative and production studio working with some of the country's most recognizable brands.

We're looking for an HR Manager / HR Generalist who can confidently run end-to-end HR operations, strengthen our people systems, and help shape a healthy, high-performance culture as we scale. This role is for someone who is both strategic and hands-on, comfortable making decisions, and experienced in navigating the realities of a growing business.

At Lit Lab Studios, you'll work closely with the CEO and leadership team and have real influence over how the company grows. This is an opportunity to build systems, shape culture, and leave a meaningful mark and not just maintain existing processes.

What success looks like in the first 6–12 months:

  • All HR processes are documented, compliant, and running smoothly
  • Hiring and onboarding experience is structured and professional
  • Employees understand expectations, performance, and growth paths
  • Leadership is supported with clear HR guidance and policies
  • Culture is intentional, not accidental

Some of the responsibilities include:

1. HR Operations & Compliance

  • Manage end-to-end HR processes (contracts, policies, employee records)
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and DOLE requirements
  • Oversee payroll coordination, benefits, and government contributions
  • Handle employee relations, discipline, and conflict resolution

2. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Lead recruitment for creative, production, and support roles
  • Improve hiring process, interviews, and candidate experience
  • Design and run structured onboarding for new hires

3. Performance & People Development

  • Implement performance review and feedback systems
  • Support managers in performance management and coaching
  • Help define roles, expectations, and growth paths

4. Culture & Engagement

  • Help build a strong, respectful, and accountable company culture
  • Support engagement initiatives, team activities, and communication
  • Act as a trusted HR partner to leadership and employees

Required:

  • 5+ years experience in HR Generalist or HR Manager role
  • Strong working knowledge of PH labor law
  • Experience handling end-to-end HR independently
  • Excellent communication and judgment
  • Comfortable working with founders and leadership

Strong plus:

  • Experience in creative, media, agency, or startup environments
  • Experience setting up HR systems from scratch
  • Background in People & Culture or Organizational Development
