Join a growing healthcare facility as a Medical Assistant/Receptionist, where you'll play a key role in supporting patients from intake to ongoing care. This role combines administrative and patient-facing responsibilities, using healthcare systems like AdvancedMD and Availity to ensure efficient operations. Ideal for someone experienced in US healthcare settings and passionate about patient service and organization.


Job Highlights

Monthly Rate: Php 40,000-44,000

Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 40+ hours

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM EST

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an "Independent Contractor," the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.


Responsibilities

  • Support new clients coming into the facility with intake processes
  • Verify client information and insurance eligibility
  • Assist with patient scheduling and day-to-day appointment management
  • Handle incoming calls and client communications
  • Process patient intake using AdvancedMD system
  • Check and scan invoices within the healthcare management system
  • Complete eligibility verification forms using Availity
  • Manage daily client messages and correspondence
  • Provide client-facing support throughout the patient journey

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in clinics in the US
  • Strong phone communication skills and client-facing experience
  • Proficiency with AdvancedMD, particularly patient intake and scheduling
  • Experience with Availity for eligibility verification
  • Knowledge of insurance verification procedures
  • Ability to work full-time (35+ hours per week)
  • Availability to work EST time zone, 9 AM - 5 PM schedule
  • Knowledge and adherence to HIPAA compliance
