Talent Acquisition Manager

Responsible for ensuring timely delivery of hiring demands for Landers Superstore. Oversees a team of recruitment professionals to drive hiring delivery, efficiency and process improvements. Leads the organization in Branding and Recruitment Marketing.
JOB SUMMARY:
Branding and Sourcing
Develops strategic road map and implements programs, plans and procedures to provide quality candidates to the organizational needs
Builds quality relationships with the internal customers and external recruitment agencies
Establish relationships with industry partners and aide in building a stronger brand for the company
Proactively seek candidates through targeted sourcing channels
Creates programs to ensure there's a flow of candidate pool for all hiring demands
Stay up to date on all branding guidelines and requirements to ensure all produced collateral from the recruiting team meets the branding standards
Work closely with Marketing Team to create and maintain advertisements for employment opportunities, public relations messaging, and any public facing collateral that contains the Landers branding
Represent the Landers organization with external activities like campus, institution partnerships and other events
Recruitment Operations
Oversees the end-to-end recruitment process
Conducts end to end hiring for Managerial roles for both the Store and Central office vacancies
Serves as the recruiting subject matter expert and advisor to the organization for all staffing needs.
Plan, direct and develop efficiencies of activities and processes of recruiting store and central office vacancies
Support ongoing HR improvement projects
Proactively create process improvement initiatives impacting the Talent Acquisition process and all related stakeholders
Drives team compliance on Internal policies and Talent Acquisition Standard Operating Procedure
Provide/develop/maintain regular reporting on recruitment activities, requisition, applicant flow, interviews, hires, etc.
Setting standards for evaluating applicant qualifications
Assures that contacts and relationships with educational institutions, employment agencies, workforce centers and other sources for applicants are maintained
Conducts regular meetings with internal stakeholders to review hiring needs, recruiting activities, and applicant pipeline development plans
Develop and provide innovative solutions to meet hiring needs and attract applicants to maintain applicant pool.
Screens and conducts competency-based interviews to select qualified candidates for the hiring vacancies. Partners with various departments and hiring managers to ensure an excellent candidate and stakeholder experience.
Candidate Sourcing
Utilizes social media platforms to expand networks to professionals
Sources potential candidates with the use of traditional and/or non-traditional recruitment channels.
Conducts proactive sourcing and boolean searches for specialized roles
Address all inquiries from job portals as well as internal inquiries from employees
Conceptualizes and implements various sourcing initiatives to fulfill the hiring demand
Participates in nationwide off-site/ on-site recruitment events
Creates job ads aligned to the Landers' brand marketing and feel
Vacancy Management
Conducts job brief meetings with the Hiring Managers to understand the skill sets and nature of the role
Partners with internal external teams to ensure the requirement is aligned with market standards
Builds knowledge and understanding of a variety of roles in order to effectively source, screen, and short list applicants.
Cascades & complies with Service Level Agreements to hiring managers
Identifies future hiring needs and proactively source for potential hires & talents in the market
Agency Management
Partners with varied Manpower Agencies to ensure deployment of manpower needs of the store
Monitors the performance and delivery of the agencies.
Coordinates with the HR Admin and Accounting teams for billing and proper charging of provided services
Candidate Management
Guarantees timely processing of candidates received for open vacancies
Answers all candidate queries related to their application status
Schedules and conducts interviews for shortlisted candidates as needed in the hiring vacancy
Conducts behavioral interviews to ensure proper assessment of job and culture fit of the candidate with the company
Conducts Background Investigation for selected candidates
Collects pre-employment requirements of the candidate
Accurately encodes the candidate in the HR Information Systems and trackers
Assist in interview schedules for Leadership and Senior Officers candidates
Collates all hiring documents and ensures completeness for regulatory and audit checking documentation
Coordinates with Total Rewards team for proper salary calibration
Presents offer letters and explains provisions in the employment contract to the selected candidate
Provides regular updates to hiring managers, and HR partners to cascade any progress and/or bottlenecks encountered
Partners with different departments to ensure Day 1 readiness of the candidate upon onboarding
Reports
Ensures preparation and sending of timely and accurate reports
Measures and reports sourcing metrics, like source of hire, aging, and candidate conversion rates.
Analyzes data to discover trends, patterns and correlations that will assist management in making better business decisions.
Regularly reports vacancy status and fill-up rate to management team
QUALIFICATIONS:
Educational Background:
Graduate of any four-year course, preferably in the field of Human Resources, Psychology, Behavioral Sciences, with at least 2 years relevant experience in volume hiring in the retail industry.
Work Experience
Preferred experience in retail industry but not required
Experience in managing multiple manpower agencies
Knowledge and Skills
Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools
Experience in conducting behavioral and competency-based interviewing
Above average communication skills
Strong stakeholder management
Ability to problem solve and multitask
