Job Description:

  • Filing and compliance of BIR and SEC regulatory requirements. This includes preparation, review and filing of withholding taxes, VAT and income taxes.
  • Prepares and/reviews relevant management tax reports for approval of Management.
  • Implementation of new BIR regulatory requirements.
  • Handles various registration updates and applications with the BIR, which includes among others being the tax point person for BIR EIS implementation
  • Finance point person in handling business permit renewals of store-branches with different LGUs across the country.
  • Prepares and submits tax assumptions in the quarterly forecasts & annual budget. This includes tax planning and forecasting for the company.
  • Identify and mitigate tax risks
  • Manage and coordinate tax audits. This includes LOAs and notices from the BIR.
  • Ensures that the book of accounts is updated and reconciled for tax purposes.
  • Disseminates new tax rulings and regulations and monitors their compliance.

Job Qualification:

  • Candidate must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant.
  • 3-5 years experience as a Manager
  • Ability to manage and lead tax compliance and advisory projects effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex tax regulations and financial data.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal stakeholders, external auditors, and tax authorities.
