As a Revenue Accountant, you will be responsible for the day-to-day revenue accounting operations, maintaining the accuracy and completeness of revenue and associated costs general ledger accounts and month end close reporting. We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail, customer service and audit experience.
Remote candidates may be considered.

What you'll do:
* Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations for revenue, cost of revenue, deferred revenue, deferred cost and any associated revenue or cost of revenue accounts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP
* Support monthly closing activities by preparing, verifying, and entering accurate journal entries
* Review and verify accuracy of account balances and classifications. Analyzes changes in balance sheet and income statement accounts and makes recommendations to correct errors as appropriate.
* Design, refine and optimize assigned accounts monthly close procedures, taking into consideration all necessary dependencies, and execute timely and accurately in month-end close activities
* Perform quarterly/annual revenue related disclosures
* Assist with preparation of technical accounting memos and related analyses to document the company position on technical accounting matters in accordance with ASC 606
* Work closely with external auditors to ensure that the company is compliant with revenue recognition principles under ASC 606
* Partner with cross-functional teams on a regular basis to identify areas for improvement and solve problems

What you'll bring:
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
* Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) including application of ASC 606, a must
* Minimum of 4 years of related work experience
* Big 4 accounting firm experience a plus
* CPA or equivalent a plus
* Experience with NetSuite or other large ERP system a must
* Advance knowledge of MS Excel and Power Point
* Ability to multi-task, stay organized and prioritize deadlines in fast paced and continuously changing environment
* Promotes teamwork and works well with others
* Energetic, detail-oriented, and positive attitude
