General Summary
The paralegal supports the Team by ensuring compliance with corporate secretarial and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include preparing, organizing, and monitoring legal documentation, especially for investment deals and business operations. This role involves:
- Managing legal and regulatory compliance for daily business operations.
- Providing practical, business-focused compliance advice.
- Assisting in mitigating regulatory risks while supporting business growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in arts or sciences.
- At least four years of paralegal experience.
- Proficiency in English and MS Office.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Compliance:
Ensure all group companies meet corporate secretarial and housekeeping requirements.
- Draft secretary's certificates, resolutions, and meeting minutes.
2. Document Management:
- Review and draft standard agreements based on preapproved checklists.
- Confirm approvals, manage document execution, and maintain organized records.
3. Operational Support:
- Document operational processes and ensure compliance across markets.
- Assist with business concessions documentation and approval processes.
4. Government Liaison:
- Prepare and organize documents for submission to agencies like the BIR and SEC.
5. Training & Compliance:
- Identify training needs and assist in compliance education for business teams.
6. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Foster strong relationships with internal teams and external agencies.
7. Additional Support:
- Handle other tasks related to legal and regulatory compliance as required.
