I. General Summary

Under the supervision of the Chief Legal & Risk Officer and/or legal counsels, the paralegal assists in the legal review of leases and ensures compliance with business permit and insurance requirements. He/She prepares, archives, and monitors documentation related to leases, insurance, gym management service agreements, and other transactions entered into by the business.

The role's purpose is to assist the Chief Legal & Risk Officer and/or legal counsels in:

  • Review, prepare, and finalize lease agreements and their renewals;
  • Manage insurance requirements and liaise with internal stakeholders, insurers, or brokers on insurance claims;
  • Monitor business permit applications and ensure timely submission of requirements;
  • Ensure all gym management services agreements are in place for corporate clubs across all markets.
II. Qualification Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in arts or sciences;
  • At least four years of experience in paralegal work;
  • Proficient in English and MS Office;
  • Above-average organizational and communication skills.
III. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with corporate secretarial requirements across all markets and meet corporate housekeeping standards; draft DRIWs and MRIWs for group companies, circulate for approval, and ensure proper recording and archiving of executed documents.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on new or amended laws and regulations affecting property management.
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, delivering excellent client service.
  • Manage legal & regulatory compliance tasks, including company secretarial work, as needed.
  • Coordinate with departments to facilitate issuance of corporate documents, affidavits, contracts, and other agreements.
  • Maintain databases for corporate insurance, licensing, lease agreements, and property transactions.
  • Provide legal or administrative guidance on documentary requirements for permits, licenses, insurance claims, and funding.
