Role Overview

The responsibility of the Financial Reporting Head is to assist the Senior Director for Accounting and Reporting and provide an oversight to all the general accounting and reporting activities of the company, assigned to the Head to ensure that the following has been followed:

1. General Accounting and Reporting and cash flow statement.

  • Ensure the timely preparation of financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement,principles (GAAP).
  • Ensure that the financial statements are accurate and compliant with generally accepted accounting
  • Ensure the smooth the day-to-day accounting operations of the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and financial statement preparation.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Ensure strict adherence to internal control policies and procedures statements.
  • Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process to produce reliable financial
  • Review and approve accounts payable vouchers including journal entries, if needed.
  • Review and evaluate budget, in conjunction with other members of the budget committee

2. Reporting and Communications

  • Assist in the preparation of regular reports and presentations for senior management and the board of directors on overall financial performance of the company
  • Collaborate with the other accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments and external parties to ensure alignment and transparency in accounting operations.
  • Assist and/or serve, on behalf of the Senior Director for AR, as the company's liaison officer with external parties, including auditors, tax authorities and financial institution

3. Technology and Systems

  • Provide direction, training and tools to subordinates in the performance of their duties.
  • Provide guidance in the hiring and managing of accounting personnel in the company.
  • Mentor and develop accounting and financial reporting staff
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and financial technology solutions to streamline accounting reporting processes.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting processes and policies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Seek opportunities for cost savings and revenue generation through accounting activities
