Financial Reporting Manager

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Plan resource requirements, facilitate on boarding of clients, and monitor implementation/execution of client engagements
• Approve any changes on Agreed Upon Procedures (AUP) and escalates to Engagement Manager/client.
• Approves any changes on Desktop Procedures (DTP).
• Ensures that the client's financial statements are prepared and presented in accordance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards.
• Makes good judgments, delivers timely perception of root causes and provides effective solutions of issues encountered.
• Attends internal Operations Committee meetings and presents required dashboards/reports.
• Monitors productivity by ensuring client loading of employees are within targets Identify the team's strengths and weaknesses/challenges, and participates in the improvement process.
• Consistently seeks and deliver improvement and advancement in how one executes and achieves strong performance delivery.
• People Management Oversee the work of the teams and ensure that client engagements follow the prescribed service quality.
• Supervise and review the work of the Team Leader/s Mentor and coach team members
• Participate in team recruitment and employee on boarding and development plan.
• Effectively communicate goals and set clear expectations to Team Members Evaluate team member's performance.
• Account/Client Management Ensures Service Level Agreements or SLA/deliverables with client-partners are met timely.
• Ensure that month end and year end closing activities and deadlines are properly set up and clearly defined with the team members as well as with clients to ensure timely and accurate preparation of Financial Accounting Reports.
• Review and analyze monthly financial accounting reports/dashboards before submission to client-partners.
• Lead account meetings with client-partners on Financial Accounting reports and related analysis, if needed Develop good working relationship with internal and external partners that result in improvement and strong service delivery.
• Build trust with clients and effectively identify key opportunity areas that improve customer experience.
• Report and present at clients' ManCom, ExeCom and Board meetings, if included in service engagement activities.
• Financial Management Review account profitability and team's productivity based on the set targets.
• Manage Annual Revenue Portfolio as set and approved by Immediate Head based on the Annual Budget of IFRS Others.
• Recommend improvements the existing service delivery practices and procedures Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential and maintaining professional standards at all times.
• Adhere to the company's policies and operating guidelines.
• Other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by immediate head.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is highly preferred Solid experience (at least 5–7 years) in financial reporting, auditing, or accounting, preferably with managerial/supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong background in Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Experience in handling multiple client accounts and engagements.
• Proven track record in people management, including supervising, coaching, and performance evaluation.
• Exposure to financial statement preparation, month-end/year-end closing, and account profitability monitoring.
• Familiarity with desktop procedures, service level agreements, and agreed-upon procedures.
• Adaptability to systems currently used by company, including Xero, Fathom, Google Workspace, and others.
