Role Summary:

The Technical Sales Representative generates revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders. Has a thorough understanding of the technical requirements of the clients and has the capacity of interpreting said requirements. Furthermore, he/she is required to providing technical information, key account management, developing new accounts, and reviving the lost business.

Requirements:

-Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Food Technology / Nutrition / Dietetics / Chemistry / Biology.

-At least 2 Years of working experience in the field of Sales, R&D, or QA is required for this position.

-Professional experience in the Food Manufacturing Industry will be an advantage.

-A holder of valid Professional / Non-Professional Driver's License.

-Good Presentation / Demonstration Skills.

-Good Written and Verbal Communication Skills.

Job Description

-Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts.

-Updates job knowledge by studying new products.

-Writes letters and business correspondence to suppliers as needed.

-Closes new accounts.

-Builds rapport, provides technical information and explanation and prepares quotations and purchase orders.

-Develops current accounts by checking customer's buying history, suggesting related and new items, and explaining the technical features of the products.

-Promotes products through end-user calls, training, product demonstrations, trade shows, and other activities required to deliver ingredients to customers.

-Takes initiative to resolve and suggest solutions to potential issues with customers and suppliers.

-Able to successfully maintain and grow his/her business.

-Accomplishes department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.

-Ensures that all credits/credit terms given to customers are monitored and controlled effectively.

-Assesses competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitors' information and trends.
