Job Summary

The Product Head is responsible for leading the development, management, and profitability of the bank's business banking products. This role oversees the entire Product Management Group, ensuring timely delivery of projects, compliance with regulatory requirements, and alignment with business objectives. The position drives innovation through market research, product design, and enhancements to maintain competitiveness and profitability. By collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing training to sales channels, the Product Head ensures successful product launches and continuous improvement of existing offerings to meet client needs and achieve strategic growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the entire Product Management Group.
  • Oversee team performance and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Report progress and key updates to senior management.
  • Drive development of new banking products and services.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs and opportunities.
  • Ensure all regulatory and internal requirements are met for product launches.
  • Manage and improve existing products to stay competitive and profitable.
  • Monitor product performance and implement enhancements based on trends.
  • Provide training and support to sales teams on product features.
  • Develop policies and guidelines to maintain product profitability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field;
    • MBA or relevant certification preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in product development or management within banking.
  • Strong knowledge of banking products, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and relevant software tools.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strategic thinking with a focus on profitability and growth.
