Job Overview

The Finance and Accounting Specialist is responsible for receiving and releasing of all cash and checks paid for and by the company, making sure that all data are correct and cash/checks are properly accounted. The position is also in charge of assuring that all financial documents pertaining to Cashiering are intact and ready for audit.

The Finance and Accounting Specialist is also responsible for the preparation of the payroll and allowances of all company employees and the corresponding government dues related to it making sure that all payables are paid on time.

The Finance and Accounting Specialist is likewise responsible for the preparation of all company disbursements to suppliers, employees, government dues and other payables making sure all are paid on time.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Receiving and Timely Deposit of Remittances or Collections
  • Preparation of Collection Receipts, Cash Control, & Cash Receipts Book
  • Preparation of Financial Reports
  • Compliance with BIR, SEC and other statutory requirements
  • Management and Maintenance of accounting records
  • Custodian of Petty Cash Fund (PCF) and Delivery Fund (DF)
  • Preparation of the Bi-Monthly Payroll and Allowances
  • Preparation of Monthly Government Dues Extracted from the Payroll
  • Preparation of Check Disbursement Voucher (CDV) & Check
  • Releasing of Company Issued Checks

Qualifications required:

  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant with good scholastic records
  • With at least 5 years of experience in finance/accounting
  • Must have experience in preparing financial statements and record to report process.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, and meet deadlines.
  • Has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be highly organzied and detail-oriented.
  • Can maintain high level of accuracy and outstanding attention to details.
  • Must have strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have strong work ethics and proactive.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php40, Php45,000.00 per month
