We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented
Audit Assistant
to join our Assurance team. The successful candidate will assist in the execution of audit engagements, perform analytical procedures, and support the audit team in delivering high-quality assurance services to a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and performing statutory audits, reviews, and agreed-upon procedures engagements in compliance with auditing standards and firm methodology.
  • Obtain, analyze, and evaluate accounting documentation, reports, and data.
  • Perform substantive testing, analytical review, and audit sampling procedures.
  • Prepare audit working papers and documentation in accordance with firm and professional standards.
  • Assist in drafting financial statements and audit reports.
  • Communicate and coordinate with clients to obtain required information and resolve queries.
  • Support senior auditors and managers in ensuring timely completion of engagements.
  • Maintain professional and ethical standards in all dealings with clients and colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Accountancy, Accounting Technology
    , or a related field.
  • CPA qualification
    (or currently pursuing) is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting/audit software.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • High level of attention to detail and professional integrity.
  • Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
