Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting audit engagements across retail stores, branches, head office functions (financial, operational, compliance audits).
  • Verify that retail operations (merchandise displays, inventory counts, cash handling, branch policies) conform to company standards and internal controls.
  • Perform audit procedures: inquiries, observation, verification of documents/data, surprise counts of merchandise/cash funds.
  • Prepare working papers, audit documentation, draft findings and recommendations for improvement of controls and processes.
  • Monitor inventory balances (quantity/cost), assist in annual inventory counts, review transfers/disposals of non-trade items and fixed assets.
  • Assist in identifying risk areas, operational inefficiencies, control deficiencies and propose corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with branch/store teams and finance/inventory departments for audit logistics, report follow-up and action tracking.
  • Travel to store/branch locations for field audits; flexible schedule may be required (especially in roll-out or surprise audit scenarios).

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Internal Auditing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in auditing, internal controls or retail operations preferred
  • Good proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to spot discrepancies and work under minimal supervision.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills; able to present findings clearly and liaise with different teams.
  • Willingness to travel for field audits (stores/branches outside main office)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
