Senior Automation QA Engineer
to
lead automated testing efforts and enhance our testing framework
for projects catering to our Australian clients.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead the design, development, and execution of automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing across web and mobile platforms
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to define clear testing requirements and improve testability of features
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in automation best practices and testing methodologies
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks and tools, ensuring they are scalable and maintainable
• Conduct reviews of the automated test cases to ensure they align with project goals and acceptance criteria
• Actively participate in sprint planning and retrospective meetings, providing insights on testing progress and quality metrics
• Work closely with the DevOps team to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to software quality and testing processes
• Provide technical guidance and support for the testing team to enhance overall testing efficiency and effectiveness

Knowledge and Experience Required

• Extensive experience in automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG)
• Proficient in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) for automation tasks
• Strong background in testing web applications of different kinds (B2B, B2C, e-commerce) and native mobile applications for Android and iOS, including API testing
• Proven experience in a leadership role within a QA team in a fast-paced Agile environment
• Familiarity with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI) and version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions
• A desire to achieve the best outcome for our clients
• Friendly, professional, and self-motivated with a drive to learn
• Tertiary qualifications in IT or similar relevant qualifications are highly expected

Additional Information

• Salary Offered: Commensurate with experience

• Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days working from home)
• Shift Schedule: Day Shift (9:00AM - 6:00PM); 9 hours a day, 5 days a week
• Interview Arrangement: All interviews are being held remotely through Google Meet
