The Food & Beverage Supervisor oversees restaurant, bar, or banquet operations to ensure excellent customer service, smooth workflow, and adherence to company standards. They lead and support staff, handle customer concerns, assist with training, and help achieve operational and financial goals.

  • Oversees daily food & beverage operations (restaurant, bar, banquets)
  • Ensures high-quality service and guest satisfaction
  • Supervises, trains, and schedules F&B staff
  • Conducts staff briefings and assigns duties
  • Coordinates with kitchen and other departments for smooth service
  • Handles guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints
  • Ensures compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of service areas
  • Assists with inventory control and stock ordering
  • Monitors food and beverage costs and prevents wastage
  • Supports achievement of sales and profitability targets
  • Ensures proper use of POS systems and cash handling
  • Prepares reports, logs, and operational documentation
  • Helps in staff recruitment and performance evaluations
  • Ensures company policies and service procedures are followed
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience in F&B or hospitality (supervisory role preferred).
  • Strong leadership, communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-focused with strong problem-solving skills.
Typical Education / Background
  • Hospitality or F&B service experience required.
  • Degree or diploma in Hospitality, Tourism, or related field (preferred).
  • Certifications (e.g., food safety) an advantage.
