Warehouseman – Hotel Job Description Position Summary

The Warehouseman is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing hotel supplies, equipment, and food & beverage items. This role ensures accurate inventory levels, timely delivery of items to hotel departments, and adherence to hotel standards for cleanliness, safety, and guest service support.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving & Storage

• Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries of hotel supplies, F&B items, housekeeping materials, and equipment.
• Ensure products are stored in appropriate areas, including dry storage, cold storage, and chemical storage.
• Maintain organized shelves and storage rooms according to hotel standards and FIFO (First-In, First-Out) procedures.

Inventory & Documentation

• Record incoming and outgoing items using hotel inventory systems.
• Assist in daily/weekly/monthly stock counts for F&B, housekeeping, and engineering supplies.
• Report low stock levels or discrepancies to the Purchasing Department or Storekeeper Supervisor.

Distribution

• Prepare and deliver requested items to hotel departments such as Housekeeping, F&B outlets, Engineering, Front Office, and Admin offices.
• Ensure timely replenishment of storerooms and par stock levels.
• Support banquet and event teams by providing required supplies when needed.

Safety & Hygiene

• Follow proper handling procedures for food items, chemicals, and fragile equipment.
• Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of all storerooms and loading areas.
• Comply with HACCP and hotel safety standards.

Equipment Handling

• Operate pallet jacks, trolleys, and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Maintain records of equipment usage and report any malfunctions.

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in hotel warehousing or F&B stores (preferred).
• Knowledge of FIFO, food safety, and storage standards.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with hotel inventory or purchasing systems (e.g., FMC, MC, Opera, BirchStreet).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 25–30 kg.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple requests from different departments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php14, Php16,000.00 per month
