Job Title: SAP Business One Functional Consultant

Work Set-up: Onsite (Madrigal Business Park, Alabang, Muntinlupa)

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

As an SAP Business One Functional Consultant, your role is to provide consulting services to clients, engaging in presales activities, ensuring successful implementation, optimization, and support of the SAP Business One system.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understand client business needs and gather requirements for SAP Business One.
  • Design and configure SAP Business One solutions and workflows.
  • Develop project plans and coordinate implementation activities.
  • Set up system modules, master data, user roles, and integrations.
  • Create customizations, reports, and enhancements using SDK or development tools.
  • Manage and execute data migration from legacy systems.
  • Train end-users and staff on system usage and maintenance.
  • Perform system testing and support user acceptance testing.
  • Prepare functional documentation and user guides.
  • Support go-live activities and troubleshoot issues.
  • Provide ongoing post-implementation support and optimization.
  • Build strong client relationships as a trusted advisor.
  • Stay updated on SAP Business One best practices and enhancements.
  • Assess requirements of potential clients for solution fit.
  • Deliver presentations and demonstrations tailored to client needs.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop customized solution proposals.

Job Specifications / Qualification

1) You should have hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas:

  • Accounting & Finance → managing ledgers, AP/AR, cost accounting, or financial reporting.
  • Sales & Distribution → order-to-cash process, invoicing, or sales pipeline management.
  • Inventory & Warehousing → stock movement, BOM, MRP, or warehouse operations.
  • Procurement → purchase-to-pay process, vendor management, or purchase planning.
  • Production/Manufacturing → if implementing for manufacturing firms (understanding of routing, materials, etc.).

2) ERP or System Exposure

  • Experience with any ERP or accounting system (SAP B1, Oracle NetSuite, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, etc.) is highly preferred.
  • Understanding of business process flows—not just data entry. (You should know why processes are done, not just how.)

3) Consulting or Project Experience (Optional but Valuable)

  • Participated in system implementation, migration, or optimization projects.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, documentation, testing, and user training is a big plus.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree is a plus (not required but valuable).
