Job Title: SAP Business One Technical Consultant

Work Set-up: Onsite (Madrigal Business Park, Alabang, Muntinlupa)

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

About the Role:

A SAP Technical Consultant designs, implements, and maintains SAP systems, focusing on the technical aspects of SAP solutions, ensuring customizations and integrations work seamlessly, and translating business needs into technical specifications.  

Duties and Responsibilities

Technical Expertise

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain ABAP code, reports, interfaces, CDS Views, AMDP, and OData services.
  • Configure and support SAP modules, ensuring strong understanding of system architecture, database structures, and integration points.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, perform performance tuning, and ensure system reliability and stability.

Client Interaction & Consulting

  • Work directly with clients to understand technical and business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into detailed technical specifications and solution designs.
  • Provide expert guidance on SAP best practices, integration strategies, and technical feasibility.
  • Collaborate closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and project teams.

Implementation & Maintenance

  • Participate in end-to-end SAP implementation projects from design to deployment.
  • Configure, customize, and enhance SAP systems to meet client requirements.
  • Conduct thorough system testing to ensure accurate functionality and performance.
  • Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Stay current with SAP technologies, updates, and industry best practices.
  • Develop data migration programs and support legacy data transition.
  • Create and maintain SAP forms, workflows, and custom enhancements.
  • Train internal teams or client personnel on SAP technical processes and system usage.

Job Specifications / Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • SAP Business One certification or relevant experience.

  • Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting SAP Business One.

  • Experience with SUSE Linux and Windows Server OS installation and configuration.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions and training sessions.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Prior experience in SAP B1 version upgrades and HANA migrations is preferred.

  • Familiarity with MSSQL and HANA databases is an advantage.
