We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Deposit Manager to lead our deposit operations and ensure efficient, compliant, and customer-focused services. This role supervises the Deposit, Remittance, and Cash Sections, ensuring processes align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices while maintaining excellent client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily activities of the Deposit, Remittance, and Cash Sections, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with internal policies, BSP regulations, and AMLA requirements.
  • Oversee Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes for both individual and corporate clients, including periodic reviews and validation of documentation.
  • Review and approve deposit-related transactions, such as over-the-counter deposits/withdrawals, bank transfers, SWIFT messages, RTGS, EPCS, PDDTS, inward remittances, and new account openings.

  • Check and release OFAC-filtered transactions in OFAC Verification of ENESIS.

  • Manage cash operations, including Cash-in-Vault and Cash-in-ATM.

  • Review daily and monthly transaction reports from Tellers and Cashier.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex deposit-related customer inquiries, collaborating with the Customer Service team for timely resolution.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Lead, train, and mentor team members to build capabilities and support career growth.
  • Prepare and submit required BSP reports related to deposit, remittance, and cash operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in deposit operations, preferably in a banking environment.
  • Strong knowledge of BSP regulations, AMLA, and other compliance requirements.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
