Product Development Manager

The Product Development Manager will oversee the development and commercialization of commercial deposit products, ensuring they meet business growth objectives. The role involves developing product/business plans, formulating marketing/commercialization strategies, and monitoring product performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Generation
    1. Develop comprehensive product/business plans to drive business growth, including market segmentation, product positioning, competitive analysis, sales strategy, and pricing strategy.
    2. Align product/business plans with the bank's overall objective and vision.
    3. Formulate effective marketing/commercialization strategies to increase sales activities and product take-up in coordination with customer experience and marketing departments.
  • Operational Efficiency
    1. Develop, evaluate, and review process changes related to products/customer segments.
    2. Monitor commercial deposit product performance and profit & loss statements.
    3. Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitors to identify emerging opportunities and threats.
    4. Collaborate with internal and external partner units to deliver business objectives and requirements for commercial deposit products.
    5. Coordinate with vendors to support product features.
  • Risk Awareness and Management
    1. Assess risks on commercial deposit products and ensure necessary controls are in place to mitigate incidents.
    2. Understand regulatory requirements and apply them accordingly to commercial deposit products to ensure compliance.
    3. Coordinate with control units to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Deposit Product Manager or Cash Management Product Manager.
  • At least 2 years' experience in the banking industry.
