Job Summary

The Wellness Center Nurse Therapist integrates professional nursing practice with counseling and therapeutic interventions to promote and maintain the overall health and well-being of clients. They work as part of the an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive, individualized care plans, focusing on both physical and mental health.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including physical, emotional, and mental health status.
  • Monitor and manage clients' chronic conditions, including medication administration, and monitoring reactions.
  • Document patient progress, care plans, and outcomes accurately and completely.
  • Apply holistic mind-body practices like meditation to promote relaxation and healing.
  • Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians, social workers, mental health professionals, and other team members.
  • Promote healthy lifestyle choices and preventative health measures within the center.
