UHT Senior Technician Supervisor

At Axelum Resources Corp., we take pride in producing world-class coconut products trusted by global brands. We are looking for a UHT Senior Technician Supervisor to lead the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of UHT (Ultra-High Temperature) processing and packaging equipment.
This role ensures the reliability and efficiency of UHT production lines, overseeing both equipment performance and technician supervision. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Tetra Pak systems, preventive maintenance, and aseptic technology — ensuring consistent, high-quality output that meets global food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervision & Leadership

• Lead and supervise UHT technicians, ensuring efficient task delegation and workflow.
• Provide technical guidance and hands-on support during troubleshooting and repairs.
• Conduct training sessions to enhance technical capabilities in UHT equipment operation and maintenance.

Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of UHT processing and packaging systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and automation issues in Tetra Pak equipment.
• Ensure minimal downtime through proactive maintenance planning and execution.
• Analyze performance and processing data from packaging line monitoring systems.

Installation & Commissioning

• Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of new UHT machines and systems.
• Verify correct setup, calibration, and functionality of newly installed equipment.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, service reports, and spare parts usage.
• Develop and oversee annual maintenance plans for all UHT machinery.
• Plan and establish procurement requirements for spare parts and maintenance materials.
• Generate performance, downtime, and improvement reports for management review.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to all food safety, workplace safety, and company maintenance standards.
• Promote safe work practices and proper use of PPE among team members.
Training & Development
• Train junior technicians and operators on preventive maintenance and UHT machine handling.
• Provide coaching and feedback to improve efficiency and technical proficiency.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in equipment performance and reliability.
Occasional Duties
• Assist during company audits, events, and special maintenance projects.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by the immediate head.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Graduate of Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or any related 4-year technical course.
• Deep knowledge in Aseptic Packaging and Processing Technology.
• At least 5 years of experience in troubleshooting, servicing, overhauling, and maintaining Tetra Pak Packaging Line Equipment (A3 Flex, A3 Compact Flex, Line Controller, Helix Accumulator, Cap Applicator).
• At least 5 years of experience in troubleshooting, servicing, and maintaining Tetra Pak Processing Equipment (Aseptic Tank, VTIS Sterilizer, Homogenizer, Pasteurizer, Oil Separator).
• Knowledge in PLC systems (Rockwell Automation) and other automation equipment.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and electronics troubleshooting skills.
• Experience supervising preventive maintenance technicians.
• Skilled in analyzing performance and process data from packaging line monitoring systems.
• Ability to set up annual maintenance plans and manage spare parts inventory.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and reporting skills.
• Proficient in using maintenance management software and documentation tools.

Work Scope

• Oversees UHT Plant operations (Coconut Water and Coconut Cream).
• Utilizes laptops/desktops, cellphones, and relevant engineering machines and tools.
