This is an entry-level role designed for recent graduates looking to start their career in product design and CAD engineering. You'll receive mentorship, hands-on experience, and exposure to real-world projects in a collaborative environment, from our Australian client.

Responsibilities

  • Create and review technical drawings using 3D CAD software
  • Generate manufacturing drawings and support prototype development
  • Ensure designs meet standards (IP rating, EMC/EMI, environmental, road safety)
  • Assist in testing and validation of new designs
  • Perform basic engineering calculations to support design work
  • Document design processes and project development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams
  • Monitor quality control, safety, and compliance standards
  • Design products to meet cost and delivery targets
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment
  • Follow company policies aligned with ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 14001)

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
  • Understanding of mechanical systems and engineering principles
  • Effective communication and documentation abilities
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and detail-oriented
  • Good time management and ability to meet deadline
  • No prior work experience required — recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Internship or academic project experience in CAD or product design is a plus.
