Job Summary:

The Training Officer is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance. This role ensures that all training activities align with the organization's goals and compliance requirements while fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify training and development needs through job analysis, employee feedback, and consultation with department heads.
  • Design and develop training programs, materials, and workshops that address company objectives and employee needs.
  • Organize and conduct training sessions, including onboarding programs, skill development courses, and leadership training.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
  • Maintain and update training records and reports for compliance and tracking purposes.
  • Collaborate with external training providers and consultants when necessary.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in learning and development.
  • Ensure training programs comply with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
  • Support HR initiatives related to employee engagement, career development, and performance improvement.
  • Take the lead in implementing EOS-based training across the Kennemer Group

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Training Officer, Training Coordinator, or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of training methodologies, instructional design, and adult learning principles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to assess training needs and design effective learning solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and learning management systems (LMS) is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
