Rayomar, one of the country's progressive investment and management entity since 1982 , has operation and ownership of several companies involved in shipping, crewing, logistics, freight forwarding and international trading.

Oriental Merchants, Inc. was established in 1988 as a trading company. As the name reveals, the company functions as a merchant from the orient which initially imported commercial products from Spain for the Philippine market. Later, OMI established it's export division which functions as the agent for various buyers from Europe, the US and Asia.

OMI is currently one of the most important importers and distributors of high quality Gourmet food products in demand by leading supermarkets, hotels and restaurants for quality brands from Spain, Portugal, Belgium and Italy. Products such as olive oils, canned vegetables, legumes, flavored vinegars, herbs and spices, cheese, pasta, seasonings, Portuguese Anchovies, canned tomatoes and biscuits. It has also non-food such as the personal care product lines: colognes, soaps, shampoos and body fresheners.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to join our sales team. This role focuses on building and managing client relationships within the foodservice and gourmet food distribution industry, helping expand our market reach and drive sustainable growth across HORECA and specialty food channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the foodservice, hospitality, and specialty food sectors.
  • Act as the primary contact for assigned accounts, ensuring timely communication and excellent customer support.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the gourmet food and HORECA markets.
  • Present and promote product lines to chefs, F&B managers, purchasing officers, and business owners.
  • Monitor food industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands to inform strategic sales approaches.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (marketing, supply chain, logistics) to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and performance indicators.
  • Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and account reviews.
  • Address client concerns effectively and ensure high post-sale satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Food Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Account Executive, Sales Executive, or Key Account Manager — preferably in the food, beverage, or hospitality industries.
  • Strong understanding of food product sales, culinary trends, and the foodservice business landscape.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with CRM software is a plus.
  • Passion for high-quality food products and customer satisfaction.

Job Type: Full-time
