TOP CHEFS FOOD SUPPLIES INC. is looking for one (1) FOOD SAFETY OFFICER to join our growing team.

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The Food Safety Officer is r*_esponsible for ensuring that all food manufacturing processes comply with food safety regulations_*, company policies, and industry standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO, FSSC, etc.). The role focuses on implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving food safety systems to ensure the production of safe, high-quality food products.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards, government regulations (FDA,BFD, DOH, DA), and internal policies
  • Monitor critical control points (CCPs) and ensure compliance with HACCP and GMP guidelines
  • Conduct regular inspections of production areas, storage facilities, and sanitation practices
  • Maintain and update food safety manuals, procedures, and records
  • Ensure proper documentation of inspections, deviations,a nd corrective actions
  • Assist in preparation for internal and external audits (e.g., regulatory agencies, certification bodies, customers)
  • Conduct training programs for employees on food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices
  • Promote a strong food safety culture within the organization
  • Investigate food safety issues, non-conformances, and customer complaints
  • Recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence
  • Escalate major food safety risk to management immediately
  • Stay updated with the latest food safety regulations, trends, and best practices

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of BS Food Technology or any food technology-related course
  • Strong background in food safety
  • Knowledgeable in GMP, HACCP, the Food Safety Act of 2013, and other food safety regulations and compliances
  • Proficient in computer applications such as word, excel PowerPoint, etc.)
  • With good oral and written communication skills
  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience in Food Safety, Quality Assurance or any related position

WORK LOCATION: Warehouse 1, T12 Polo Land Ilang-Ilang, Tabang Guiguinto, Bulacan
