We are seeking an exceptional Chinese Sous Chef to join our talented culinary team at Trancendental Relection Restaurant Group' in Guiguinto Bulacan. As the Chinese Sous Chef, you will play a vital role in the execution and innovation of our authentic Chinese cuisine, ensuring a consistently high-quality dining experience for our guests.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist the Head Chef in the planning, preparation and cooking of Chinese dishes
  • Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation and flavour profiles
  • Effectively manage kitchen operations, including inventory, food cost control and team supervision
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new and exciting menu items
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior kitchen staff
  • Adhere to all health, safety and hygiene regulations

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef in a high-quality Chinese restaurant
  • Proven expertise in Chinese cuisine, with a strong understanding of traditional techniques and flavours
  • Excellent culinary skills, including knife handling, food preparation and presentation
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills
  • Valid food safety and hygiene certifications
