Position Title:
Information and Report Management Manager

Job Summary:

  • Generates regular and ad hoc MIS/reports for the different business units
  • Prepares data in suitable formats for analysis and reporting
  • Performs database management process - sourcing of databases, transformation/conversion to SAS datasets, data validation, preparation of views/reports for analysis by users and maintenance of historical databases
  • Provides support to database and MIS requirements of Sales and Marketing campaigns, Merchant Acquiring programs and Business Development initiatives
  • Create and highlight the value of data through the creation of new databases from new or existing data sources

Role Exposure:

  • Participates in User Acceptance Tests for system/process developments or enhancements that would require data validations/integrity-checking
  • Engages with inter-dependent units to improve hand-off process
  • Continuously monitor and enhance resource management particularly disk space usage and data retention and availability
  • Evaluate and enhance existing processes to minimize resources used and decrease turn-around time
  • Perform projects/ responsibilities/ special tasks that may be assigned from time to time (e.g. BORC, BCP, Cost Champion, Corporate Correspondence, Line Trainer, e-Champ)

Qualifications:

  • College graduate of any business, statistical or mathematical course.
  • At least 4 years of analytics experience in a financial institution preferably from a retail bank or a credit card company
  • Experience in dealing with various units of the organization and customer service is an advantage
  • Excellent Oral & Written Communication Skills
  • Intermediate working knowledge of SAS and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). – advanced
  • Experience in model-building, conducting portfolio studies using data mining techniques and statistical modeling tools is an advantage. – advanced
  • Excellent analytical capabilities, ability to translate and articulate technical thoughts and ideas to a larger audience including influencing skills with peers and senior management.
  • Proven problem-solving skills in a financial industry setting a must.
