Job Description:

The GNU Head Nurse oversees the nursing staff and ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care. This role includes managing daily operations, coordinating patient care, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Leadership and Supervision:

*Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff.

*Provide guidance, support, and training to nursing personnel.

*Conduct regular staff meetings to discuss patient care and administrative issues.

2.Patient Care Management:

*Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.

*Develop and implement patient care plans.

*Monitor patient progress and coordinate with healthcare providers.

3.Administrative Duties:

*Manage nursing schedules to ensure adequate staffing.

*Oversee the maintenance of patient records and ensure their confidentiality.

*Ensure compliance with healthcare laws and regulations.

4.Quality Assurance:

*Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures.

*Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with standards.

*Address and resolve any patient complaints or issues.

5.Coordination and Communication:

*Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, patients, and other healthcare professionals.

*Coordinate with other departments to ensure cohesive patient care.

*Communicate effectively with patients and their families.

6.Training and Development:

*Identify training needs and arrange professional development opportunities for nursing staff.

*Mentor new nurses and support their integration into the team.

7.Budget and Resource Management:

*Assist in budgeting and financial planning for the nursing department.

*Manage resources efficiently, including medical supplies and equipment.

8.Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)

Licensure: Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) in the Philippines.

Experience: At least 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Skills:

*Strong leadership and organizational skills.

*Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

*Proficiency in nursing practices and patient care standards.

*Ability to handle stressful situations and make critical decisions.

*Knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations in the Philippines.

Working Conditions:

*May require long hours and occasional night or weekend shifts.

*Must be able to work in a fast-paced and sometimes high-stress environment.

*Requires physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks such as lifting or moving patients.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresh graduate

Pay: Php37, Php41,000.00 per month
