BASIC FUNCTION
The Head Nurse is responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring that the team meets performance targets and maintains high standards of quality and efficiency. This role involves managing staff, coordinating activities, and implementing policies and procedures to enhance productivity and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, goals, and expectations.
- Resolve conflicts and address employee concerns in a timely and effective manner.
Operation Management:
- Oversee daily operations of the general unit, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently an and accurately.
- Monitor workflow and adjust resources as needed to meet deadlines and productivity targets.
- Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and standards.
Performance Monitoring:
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the unit.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address performance gaps.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain high levels of service quality.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Training and Development:
- Develop and deliver training programs to ensure team members are equipped with necessary skills and knowledge.
- Encourage professional growth and career development among staff.
Customer Service:
- Maintain a customer-centric approach, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and responsiveness.
- Handle escalated customer issues and complaints, providing resolutions in a timely manner.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and submit regular reports on unit performance, including operational metrics, staff performance, and project progress.

QUALIFICATIONS
BSN, Registered Nurse
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive change, and achieve results in a complex healthcare environment.
Excellent communication skills
Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in nursing practice standards and regulations.
BLS and ACLS Certified
Minimum of 2- 5 years of progressive leadership experience in nursing administration preferably in hospital settings
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php37, Php41,000.00 per month
