Job Description
A Credit and Collection Staff member, is responsible for collecting overdue payments from customers, managing accounts, and ensuring timely payment of outstanding debts, often through phone calls, emails, or letters.
Key Responsibilities:
· Monitoring and Identifying Delinquent Accounts:
Regularly review customer accounts to identify those with overdue payments and outstanding debts.
· Contacting Customers:
Contact delinquent customers via phone, email, or mail to remind them of their payment obligations and negotiate payment plans if necessary.
· Negotiating Payment Plans:
Work with customers to establish payment plans that are feasible and acceptable to both parties.
· Resolving Payment Disputes:
Investigate and resolve payment disputes or issues related to billing, inaccurate information, or improper delivery.
· Maintaining Accurate Records:
Keep accurate records of all collection activities, including phone calls, emails, and payment arrangements.
· Analyzing Financial Data:
Analyze financial statements and credit reports to assess creditworthiness and identify potential risks.
· Following Up on Overdue Accounts:
Consistently follow up with clients on overdue accounts and take necessary actions to collect dues.
· Providing Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive client/customer relations.
· Coordinate with other departments:
Coordinate with sales, finance, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and resolve collection issues.
· Document Collection Activities:
Document all collection activities and interactions in a collection software system.
· Maintain Monthly Statements:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of open accounts and monthly statements.
· Identify and address credit holds:
Identify the reason for credit hold and justification for credit lift.
· Monitor and analyze credit-worthiness:
Monitor and analyze credit-worthiness of clients.
· Performs clerical duties:
Sort and file documents, post customer payments, and perform other administrative functions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From Php18,127.92 per month
