Job Summary

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's overall procurement strategy, ensuring the efficient sourcing of quality raw materials and products at the best possible value. The role requires strong negotiation skills, supplier management expertise, and a deep understanding of the frozen meat industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
  • Manage and maintain supplier relationships, ensuring reliability, performance, and compliance with company standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Conduct market research and price benchmarking to identify trends, risks, and new sourcing opportunities.
  • Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements in accordance with company policies.
  • Oversee procurement budget, control costs, and ensure optimal use of resources.
  • Analyze procurement data, prepare reports, and recommend improvements in the purchasing process.
  • Collaborate with other departments (Sales, Operations, Finance) to ensure procurement supports business goals.
  • Ensure compliance with import regulations, quality assurance standards, and food safety requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or any related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the food or frozen goods industry.
  • Strong understanding of sourcing, logistics, and inventory management processes.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and procurement management software.
  • High level of integrity, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php70, Php80,000.00 per month
