STEM Educator —Operations Unit

IV – DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy:

A.     As FEI's primary liaison officer with the school administrators and faculty

1. Establishes and maintains a good relationship between the Company and the school(s), calling upon all the resources of the Company.
2. Regularly meets with the school's Academic Coordinator and/or Principal to discuss details of the program implementation (e.g. Kick-off meetings at start of school year, updating meetings through the school year, planning meetings for special events, discussion of mid-year and year-end reports)
3. Facilitates and/or attends meetings between other FEI officers (e.g. AE, AOM, GM) and other school officials (e.g. school's President, Finance Officer) when needed.
4. Facilitates communications between the Company and the school administrators, through letters and emails, SMS and other messaging applications especially when access to schools get restricted due to any emergency or crisis.
5. Encouraged to attend school activities, as long as these activities are not in conflict with Company events that require the SE's attendance, and no expenses are to be required from the Company (e.g. fees for faculty retreat).
6. Attends the school's other programs relevant to STEM education, as long as these are not in conflict with scheduled STEM with Robotics classes.

B.      As implementer and deliverer of the FEI learning programs

Maintains the safekeeping and confidentiality of all company owned records and proprietary information used in the delivery of the program with strict adherence to the Company's Code of Ethics

Provides timeline for delivery of lessons and student assessments, monitors students' progress, and submits reports to the AOM.

1. Reports to his/her assigned school following the school's standard time, and conducts classes at the scheduled time.
2. Ensures the continuity of the program delivery and implementation through online learning and continued correspondence with the students.
3. Ensure the maximized use of the laboratory by proactively setting up make-up classes to recover meetings lost due to school activities (e.g. Foundation Week, Intramurals) and class suspensions due to unforeseen events and calamities.
4. Ensures the completeness of students' scores and assists in the retrieval or transmission of these to ensure the timely computation and submission of students' grades.
5. Substitutes for other STEM Educators who may be indisposed, for classes in the same school, or in other partner schools in close proximity.
6. Gathers sufficient evidences of students' learning and achievement of targeted outcomes.
7. Gathers testimonies of students' satisfaction with the Company's learning programs.

C.      As primary custodian of the installed Laboratory and company-provided equipment

Adhere to the Company's Manual of Operations and Guidelines on the upkeep of laboratory.

Maintains the installed laboratory in the partner school, ensuring the upkeep and serviceability of computers, robot kits, other equipment and peripherals installed.

Reports needs for repairs or replacement and sees through the completion of the maintenance tasks.

Maintains the cleanliness and orderliness of the laboratory.

Implements safety measures with students while inside the laboratory.

Conducts inventory twice a year and submits the inventory report to his/her Assistant Operations Manager.

D.     As an employee of the Company

Strictly adheres to the Company's Code of Ethics and compliance to the Data Privacy Act

Complies with submission deadlines of the following documents:

a Narrative report of their class substitution, if applicable

b Clearance Forms

c Evaluation Forms (Mid-Year and Year-end)

d Daily Time Record

e Incident Report, as needed

f Other documents required by the Company, thru the AOM

3.    Contributes to a culture of respect, understanding, compassion, and appreciation for superiors and subordinates, and models these traits on a day-to-day basis.

4.    Attends Area Meetings, General Assemblies, and other meetings and events called by the Company's Management Team.

5.    Proactively pursues professional and personal development activities and applies learnings from these activities to the improvement of one's work and quality of services to partner schools and students.

6.    Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Operations Manager pursuant to the rules and regulations of the company.
