DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy:
- Handles and serves as point of contact of handled client schools.
- Prepares and submits documents to AOM for checking and validation such as weekly report, liquidation/ replenishment/ travel requests, and others.
- Conducts regular visitation to handled schools to discuss academic and implementation concerns with school project manager and school administrators.
- Conducts classroom observation and evaluation of content, technical and pedagogical competencies of STEM Educators (FEI deployed or school in-house teachers);
- Mentors and coaches STEM Educator/s to develop and strengthen skills they need in implementing the program.
- Initiate discussion on curriculum implementation designed for the intended client school;
- Reviews academic documents submitted by the STEM Educator/s such as learning plans/modules, academic calendar, student's robotics grade, assessment/rubrics and/or daily time record;
- Prepares and submits mid-year and year end program evaluation
- Coordinates with the technical team for the delivery, pull out and/or replacement of missing/defective/damaged parts.
- Recommends hiring of teacher applicants based on the teaching demonstration as part of the recruitment process of STEM Educator/s.
- Renders substitution in case of unavailable reserve STEM Educator/s.
- Creates a culture of respect, understanding, compassion, and appreciation for superiors and subordinates, and models these traits on a day-to-day basis.
- Performs such other duties as may be assigned by the Operations Manager pursuant to the rules and regulations of the company.
Resources:
Assist the Assistant Operations Manager in managing daily operations and services provided to its client schools and its support activities with other units.
Initiate numerous events related to the academics and implementation standards
Identifies and recommends manpower requirements, equipment and tools, and other resources needed.
- Assist the Ops Head in budget preparation, reviews, consolidates, and oversees that expenditures are within the approved limits, and while at the same time implements cost-saving interventions.
Culture:
Acts as a role model in demonstrating FEI core values as a way of life.
Develops an environment that encourages teamwork, promotes information sharing, commitments and celebrates milestones and victories of the team.
Promotes mentoring culture to all team members and mentor next-in-line leaders.
Team:
Collaborates with other units in the processes of monitoring stakeholder needs and feedback using research tools/instruments.
Assists and concurs with other units in the identification, development, preparation and delivery of skill-specific professional development programs.
Oversees team performance, identifies high potentials to be included in the succession table and ensures that proper learning and development programs are adhered upon to ensure readiness of high potential employees
Initiates programs that promote camaraderie and team spirit.
Sets departmental objectives, team deliverables and links KRAs/KPIs with Performance Management System.
Manages team p interactions, provides timely and constructive feedback, guides the subordinates in their work, addresses performance issues, and identifies training and developmental needs of the department.
Programs and Processes:
Ensures opportunities for school engagements with its programs are planned for each academic year;
Ensures adherence of schools to its program standards;
Ensures that implementation guidelines are complied according to its budget appropriations.
Ensures proper reporting and evaluation of its programs.
Ensures availability and correctness of Product Design Brief and prepared by Learning Innovation Unit and contributed to the approval of content including uploading of program to the LMS.
Governance:
Plans, leads, organizes, and oversees academics and implementation standards;
Leads in the reporting of weekly report and business report to the Operations Head
Institutes improvements in the processes and quality assurance of the management of the operations;
Regularly reports all current activities and programs to the Assistant Operations Manager
Performs other tasks that might be assigned from time to time.
