Job Title: Construction Estimator / Scope Reviewer

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Estimator with strong analytical skills and hands-on experience in reviewing Scope of Work (SOW) documents. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project specifications, and ensuring all scope details are clearly defined and aligned with project requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and scope of work documents.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Identify potential discrepancies or omissions in scope documents and communicate findings to project managers or clients.
  • Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to gather pricing and clarify project details.
  • Assist in bid preparation and proposal submissions.
  • Maintain organized records of estimates and project documentation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in construction estimating.
  • Strong understanding of construction scope of work documents and project specifications.
  • Proficiency with estimating software and/or takeoff tools (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Excel).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
