The Accounting Officer will be responsible for overseeing client accounts with emphasis on credit evaluation, monitoring of receivables, and collection management. The role plays a vital part in maintaining healthy cash flow by ensuring timely collection of payments, minimizing credit risk, and addressing client concerns related to billing and account status.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate customer credit applications and recommend credit limits.
  • Monitor accounts receivable to ensure timely collections and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Coordinate with clients to resolve payment discrepancies, disputes, or account issues.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts and collections.
  • Assist in developing and implementing credit and collection policies.
  • Work closely with the Finance team to ensure targets and deadlines are met.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in credit and collection or related accounting functions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with accounting software is an advantage.
