About the role

We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing team. This role will effectively manage and oversee all aspects of accounts payable operations including schedule invoice payments, ensuring accuracy, timely payments, and compliance with company policies. This role involves verifying invoice details, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring that payments are processed accurately and on time through secure online banking systems.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. This role requires full on-site work, Monday to Friday, from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
  2. Manages multiple AP-related mailboxes and ensures timely response to inquiries
  3. Communicates with vendors to resolve payment issues and discrepancies
  4. Processes various payments (dummy, international, internal, urgent) in compliance with policies
  5. Investigates and resolves bounced payments and refund issues
  6. Schedules and uploads invoice payments into the system and online banking platform
  7. Reviews and reconciles creditor statements
  8. Handles statutory declarations in line with legal requirements
  9. Prepares AP aging and audit reports
  10. Supports ad hoc tasks and special projects assigned by management

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or any relevant course
  • Excellent communication skills (English)
  • Familiar with Australian invoices.
  • At least 2 years' experience in Accounts Payable, preferably within a BPO or Shared Services environment.
  • Skilled in AP software, financial systems, and online banking platforms for payment scheduling and processing.
