WHAT YOU'LL DO
Category & Product Management
- Manage assigned product categories on the e-commerce platform, ensuring accurate product listings, pricing, descriptions, and images.
- Develop and execute category strategies to meet sales targets and maximize profitability.
- Analyze category performance and make data-driven recommendations for assortment, pricing, and promotions.
Vendor & Supplier Coordination
- Liaise with relevant vendors and suppliers to source products, negotiate terms, and secure competitive pricing.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery and product availability.
Purchasing & Inventory Management
- Purchase stock based on sales forecasts, seasonality, and promotional plans.
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure accurate inventory records across systems.
Pricing & Marketing
- Set and adjust selling prices to maintain competitiveness and achieve margin goals.
- Work closely with marketing to create and execute promotional campaigns that drive traffic and conversion.
Performance Optimization
- Monitor product sell-through rates and take action to optimize underperforming products.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior to identify new opportunities.
WHAT MAKES YOU A STRONG FIT
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in e-commerce, merchandising, category management, or pricing strategies.
- Sound IT knowledge in computer hardware (must understand specifications, compatibility, and market trends)
- Proficiency in e-commerce platforms, inventory management systems, and MS Office/Google Workspace.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and make actionable recommendations.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
TOOLS & TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY
- NetSuite (ERP / Inventory Management)
- Magento (E-commerce platform)
- Adobe Photoshop(or any other editor)
- Canva (for simple creatives and product visuals)
- MS Office or Google Workspace for reporting and analysis
