WHAT YOU'LL DO

Category & Product Management

  • Manage assigned product categories on the e-commerce platform, ensuring accurate product listings, pricing, descriptions, and images.
  • Develop and execute category strategies to meet sales targets and maximize profitability.
  • Analyze category performance and make data-driven recommendations for assortment, pricing, and promotions.

Vendor & Supplier Coordination

  • Liaise with relevant vendors and suppliers to source products, negotiate terms, and secure competitive pricing.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery and product availability.

Purchasing & Inventory Management

  • Purchase stock based on sales forecasts, seasonality, and promotional plans.
  • Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure accurate inventory records across systems.

Pricing & Marketing

  • Set and adjust selling prices to maintain competitiveness and achieve margin goals.
  • Work closely with marketing to create and execute promotional campaigns that drive traffic and conversion.

Performance Optimization

  • Monitor product sell-through rates and take action to optimize underperforming products.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior to identify new opportunities.

WHAT MAKES YOU A STRONG FIT

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in e-commerce, merchandising, category management, or pricing strategies.
  • Sound IT knowledge in computer hardware (must understand specifications, compatibility, and market trends)
  • Proficiency in e-commerce platforms, inventory management systems, and MS Office/Google Workspace.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and make actionable recommendations.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

TOOLS & TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY

  • NetSuite (ERP / Inventory Management)
  • Magento (E-commerce platform)
  • Adobe Photoshop(or any other editor)
  • Canva (for simple creatives and product visuals)
  • MS Office or Google Workspace for reporting and analysis
