Join a growing startup as a Virtual Assistant, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting daily operations and helping scale the business. This role offers the flexibility of remote work while maintaining consistent daily collaboration and professional development.
Job Highlights
Hourly Rate: PHP
Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 20 hours per week (Part-time), with potential to scale to 40 hours per week (Full-time)
Schedule: 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM GMT (UK Time)
Work Arrangement: Work from home
Contract: Independent Contractor
Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an "Independent Contractor," the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage Shopify product descriptions and listings
- Conduct research projects as assigned by the business owner
- Handle basic administrative tasks and day-to-day business operations
- Manage inventory tracking and organization in spreadsheets
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks including tracking receipts and expenses
- Provide basic social media support including posting content and audience interaction
- Organize and manage client projects and pending tasks
- Assist with email management and calendar organization
- Support general business operations and workflow management
Requirements
- Experience with Shopify platform and e-commerce operations
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Proficiency in administrative tasks and organization
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and engagement
- Excellent English communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Reliable internet connection and professional work setup
- Flexibility to work on UK timezone
Scope
- Part-time position: 4 hours per day, 20 hours per week, 5 days per week
- Full-time position: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, 5 days per week
- Remote work from the Philippines or Malaysia
- Work schedule aligned with client's UK timezone
- Long-term partnership opportunity with potential for role expansion
- Monthly contract basis with 7-day trial period
