Job Overview

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales Specialist with expertise in the construction industry. The primary goal of this role is to identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities by prospecting potential clients, building strong relationships, and promoting the company's products and services. The Sales Specialist will serve as a key driver of revenue growth, ensuring the company expands its market presence within the construction sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and research potential clients within the construction and infrastructure sector.
  • Generate leads through networking, referrals, market research, cold calling, and attending industry events.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to understand project requirements and offer tailored solutions.
  • Present and promote the company's products/services to contractors, developers, architects, and project managers.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations aligned with client needs.
  • Negotiate and close sales opportunities to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (technical, operations, finance) to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience (2–5 years) in sales or business development, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong network and knowledge of the construction market (contractors, developers, suppliers, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Goal-oriented with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle objections effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Willingness to travel and meet clients on-site when required.
  • Willing to work in a compressed time : Monday to Thursday 8am -7pm and Friday 8am -5pm
