About the Role:

Access Healthcare is looking for a friendly, organized Patient Scheduler to join our team. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for patients, helping them schedule appointments and coordinating their care with our providers. Your attention to detail and excellent communication skills will ensure a smooth, positive experience for every patient.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer phones and schedule, reschedule, or cancel patient appointments
  • Confirm patient information and insurance details
  • Provide clear instructions for upcoming appointments
  • Coordinate schedules with medical staff to maximize efficiency
  • Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
  • Handle administrative tasks related to patient intake and scheduling

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Customer service experience (medical office experience preferred)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is a plus
