We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical
Finance Senior Associate
with a strong background in General Ledger (GL) accounting. The role will be responsible for managing journal entries, account reconciliations, month-end closings, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards. The ideal candidate has experience in a shared services or multinational environment and is adept at using ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and review GL accounting functions including journal entry preparation, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes in accordance with IFRS/GAAP.
  • Analyze financial information to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Reconcile intercompany balances and manage related party transactions.
  • Assist in internal and external audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor queries.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues within the general ledger accounts.
  • Maintain documentation for accounting processes and controls.
  • Support process improvement initiatives within the finance function.
  • Coordinate with AP, AR, FP&A, and other relevant teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA or equivalent professional certification is a plus.
  • Experience in General Ledger accounting, preferably in a shared service center or multinational company.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP).
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across functions.
  • Strong MS Excel skills; experience with financial reporting tools is a plus.
  • High attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Background in audit or external reporting.
  • Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Power BI, Alteryx, or RPA) is an advantage.
