Visual Merchandising Specialist (Supervisory Level )

Responsible for designing and implementing attractive in-store and window displays to showcase products and increase sales, while maintaining company standards.

Key duties include planning and setting up product displays, creating signage, styling mannequins, and ensuring visual consistency across multiple store locations.

The role requires a strong artistic sense, creativity, collaboration with marketing teams, and the ability to adapt visual strategies to specific store needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Display creation: Design and set up eye-catching exterior and interior displays, including window displays, in-store arrangements, and promotional areas.
  • Product presentation: Arrange merchandise to create appealing visual stories and implement product placement strategies that drive sales.
  • Store support: Execute visual merchandising guidelines for specific stores, including mannequin styling and product display changes.
  • Signage and props: Create and install signage, lighting, and other decorative elements to enhance displays.
  • Collaboration: Work with marketing and sales teams to align visual displays with promotional events and campaigns.
  • Store maintenance: Conduct regular inspections to ensure visual standards are maintained and displays are kept fresh and up-to-date.
  • Performance monitoring: Analyze the effectiveness of visual merchandising tactics and adapt them as needed.
  • Staff training: Train store staff on visual merchandising techniques and company standards.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Strong artistic and creative skills, with a keen eye for aesthetics and detail.
  • Proficiency in design software, such as the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commercial awareness and knowledge of current retail and market trends.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain strong organizational skills.
  • At least 3 years of similar experience in retail or visual merchandising, proficient in graphic design and software adobe photoshop.
  • With knowledge and skill in layout design and visual composition.

Education

  • A bachelor's degree in visual merchandising, design, or a related field is preferred.
