Building Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY
Provide management of all facility maintenance activities, including periodic maintenance, equipment repair, and supporting architectural, HVAC, electrical, civil, structural, and mechanical system efficiency.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical (preferred) / Mechanical Engineering
- Licensed Engineer (required)
- At least 2 years of work experience as a building engineer or in a similar role (preferably in office/commercial buildings)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Checks and monitors the physical condition, general upkeep; cleanliness of the building, its surroundings, and its facilities.
- Provides direction and training of new engineers/technicians for the familiarization of building operation and maintenance.
- Conducts regular building inspections and prepares reports.
- Responds to inquiries and requests by building tenants and resolving any problems or issues.
- Ensures facilities are in compliance with company ISO 9001 policies, regulations, and building codes.
