Job title: Product & Multimedia Design Specialist / Graphic and Multimedia Designer (Product & Packaging Focus)

Type of employment: Full-time (Remote)

Budget: $8/hr - $10/hr

Shift Schedule: 9 AM - 5 PM EST

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Product & Multimedia Design Specialist to support the design and development of our general merchandise and sock division. This role focuses on CADs, print design, packaging concepts, and multimedia content that enhance our product lines. The ideal candidate will have strong technical design skills and the ability to turn concepts into production-ready assets.

Objectives of this Role:

  • Create accurate and print-ready CAD files and packaging designs aligned with product standards.
  • Support product development through innovative design concepts and efficient execution.
  • Develop multimedia content that complements product launches and merchandising needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Create CADs and die lines for product designs, packaging, and stationery.
  • Edit and source images from stock platforms (e.g., Shutterstock).
  • Organize and manage design files and maintain an efficient workflow.
  • Generate fresh design concepts to support seasonal collections and product expansion.
  • Create product mockups, display materials, and other supporting visual assets.
  • Produce simple multimedia content (e.g., short product videos, presentations) to support sales and merchandising.
  • Conduct basic market and competitor research to inform design ideas.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Acrobat (live drawings, die lines, PDF CADs).
  • Skilled in print and packaging design.
  • Experience creating multimedia content (basic video editing, product mockups).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for organizing product data and supporting reporting needs.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Nice to Have:

  • Paid license of Adobe Illustrator.
  • Comfortable using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, image generators) for productivity and ideation.
