Role Summary

As a Senior Business Analyst, you are the critical link between our product vision and our engineering teams. You'll dive deep into our global payments and FX services, translating complex business challenges into clear, actionable requirements. Your work will directly empower our developers to build solutions that are not only technically sound but also drive significant value for our B2E2C clients and align with our core strategic goals.

Responsibilities


•Lead Stakeholder Collaboration: Facilitate and lead critical workshops with business, compliance, and technical stakeholders to deconstruct complex problems and drive alignment on solutions for our FX and payments platform.


•Author and Own the Backlog: Take full ownership of the product backlog for your domain. Your primary output will be a pristine and prioritised set of user stories, complete with robust acceptance criteria, ready for our engineering teams.


•Serve as the Technical Translator: Act as the key liaison between product and engineering. You will leverage your technical understanding of APIs and data flows to ensure business requirements are translated into technically feasible solutions.


•Ensure Flawless Delivery: Remain deeply embedded with the development team throughout the sprint lifecycle, providing clarifications, resolving ambiguities, and supporting the final delivery and release of new features.

Skills and Qualifications


•Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a software development environment, with a proven track record of delivering complex technical projects.


•Domain Expertise: Strong experience in Fintech is essential. A deep understanding of foreign exchange (FX), payment processing, or financial compliance is highly advantageous.


•Technical Fluency: A very good understanding of APIs is required. You must be comfortable analysing API specifications, defining data mapping requirements, and discussing system integration logic with engineers. A solid conceptual grasp of cloud-based, serverless architecture is a significant plus.


•Agile Mastery: Deep expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies, particularly in backlog refinement, user story writing, and running agile ceremonies.


•Exceptional Communicator: The ability to command a room, facilitate effective discussions, and build strong relationships with both highly technical and non-technical stakeholders.


•Proactive AI Adopter: You are genuinely excited by the potential of AI. You must be able to demonstrate how you are already using AI tools to improve your work or daily life.
